Hi Reader, One of the biggest mindset traps I see for women in the menopause transition is the idea that we have to “feel ready” before we start taking care of ourselves. We tell ourselves we’ll start after work slows down… or once life feels less hectic… or when we’re a bit more motivated. But that moment rarely comes — and in the meantime, weeks, months, or even years can pass. This is something I wrote about in my latest blog post, and I wanted to share this short excerpt with you: “You want to feel better in your body. You’d love to drop some weight, have more energy, and feel strong and calm again. But something keeps holding you back… and chances are, it’s this: You’re waiting until you ‘feel ready’ to start.
Sound familiar? You’re not alone.
So many women in the menopause transition, especially those juggling full-time work, families, and a million other responsibilities, put their goals on hold, thinking they need to wait until the timing is ‘just right.’
But here’s the truth: That perfect time doesn’t exist.
And waiting until it does is one of the biggest mistakes you can make.”
If this hits home, I encourage you to read the full post. You’ll discover why “waiting until you’re ready” is one of the biggest roadblocks to feeling better, and the small, doable steps you can take to start now. 👉 Read the full blog post here You’ve got this! Anna |

Hi Reader, This morning, I woke up to snow, and it doesn’t look like it will melt anytime soon! I’m definitely in the mood for heartier, cozier meals. I still love my salads, even in winter, but crisp green lettuces just aren’t really available here at this time of year. So I thought I would send you a little Winter Salad Recipe Bundle: five colourful, nourishing, vegan salads using produce that’s easier to find in winter. Warm Lentil & Sweet Potato SaladApple & Beet Quinoa SaladBeet, Fennel,...
Hi Reader, This might be an unpopular opinion in the vegan community, but it’s something I see every day in my coaching practice:Many vegan women in midlife aren’t getting enough protein. Now before you roll your eyes and think, “Not this again…”, let me unpack this. Of course we can get enough protein from plants. We’ve all heard it, said it, and probably defended it.But in midlife, the body changes, and so do its needs. Here’s what I often see with my clients:Weight gain, fatigue, and loss...
Hi Reader, Do you ever catch yourself wondering if menopause means the best years of your life are over? In our youth-driven culture, it’s easy to believe menopause marks the beginning of decline. You might feel like your confidence and sense of attractiveness are slipping away — like your sparkle is fading and there’s nothing you can do about it. But menopause is not the end of your best years. It can actually be the start of an incredibly powerful new chapter. With the right mindset,...
