This mindset trap is slowing your weight loss.

Hi Reader,

One of the biggest mindset traps I see for women in the menopause transition is the idea that we have to “feel ready” before we start taking care of ourselves.

We tell ourselves we’ll start after work slows down… or once life feels less hectic… or when we’re a bit more motivated. But that moment rarely comes — and in the meantime, weeks, months, or even years can pass.

This is something I wrote about in my latest blog post, and I wanted to share this short excerpt with you:

“You want to feel better in your body. You’d love to drop some weight, have more energy, and feel strong and calm again. But something keeps holding you back… and chances are, it’s this: You’re waiting until you ‘feel ready’ to start.
Sound familiar? You’re not alone.
So many women in the menopause transition, especially those juggling full-time work, families, and a million other responsibilities, put their goals on hold, thinking they need to wait until the timing is ‘just right.’
But here’s the truth: That perfect time doesn’t exist.
And waiting until it does is one of the biggest mistakes you can make.”

If this hits home, I encourage you to read the full post. You’ll discover why “waiting until you’re ready” is one of the biggest roadblocks to feeling better, and the small, doable steps you can take to start now.

Hi Reader, Does this sound familiar? You want to feel good in your body again, maybe slip back into your favorite clothes, but the idea of giving up chocolate or counting every calorie makes you want to throw in the towel. You’re not alone — and the good news is, you don’t have to go on a restrictive diet to see real results. If you’re a vegan or vegetarian woman navigating menopause, you might feel like your body is working against you. Between busy workdays, stress, and shifting hormones,...

Hi Reader! If you’ve been feeling frustrated, thinking that you should be spending hours at the gym to see results during menopause, I have good news: You don’t need to hit the gym for an hour every day to see results. In fact, combining structured exercise with regular, everyday movement (like walking, housework, or taking the stairs) can actually be more effective for menopausal weight loss. When I lost my 25 pounds of menopause weight, I didn’t go to the gym at all — I simply added short...
